Terms of Service

Welcome to SaviPets. These Terms of Service ("Terms", "Agreement") govern the relationship between SaviPets LLC ("SaviPets", "we", "us") and the client ("Client", "you"). By booking an "IceBreaker" or utilizing any of our pet care services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

SaviPets provides professional in-home pet care services, including dog walking, overnight stays, drop-in pet sitting, and pet transport across Wayne, PA and the Main Line. Specific service details, times, and rates will be agreed upon in writing or via our booking platform prior to service commencement.

2. Booking, Payment, & Cancellations

• Payment: Payment for services is due as agreed upon during booking. We reserve the right to require a deposit for overnight or extended stays.
• Cancellations: We require advance notice for cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee up to the full cost of the scheduled service. Holiday bookings may have stricter cancellation policies.

3. Veterinary Emergency & Medical Release

The health and safety of your pet is our top priority.

• Authorization: In the event of a medical emergency where we cannot reach you, you authorize SaviPets to seek emergency veterinary care for your pet at a clinic of our choosing (preferring your designated vet when possible).
• Financial Responsibility: The Client agrees to assume full financial responsibility for any and all veterinary care expenses incurred. SaviPets is released from any liability related to the decision to seek, or not seek, emergency medical treatment.

4. Liability & Indemnification

• Pet Behavior: The Client is solely responsible and liable for the behavior and actions of their pet(s). The Client agrees to indemnify and hold SaviPets harmless from any claims, damages, or injuries caused by their pet to third parties, other animals, or property.
• Property Damage: SaviPets will treat your home with the utmost respect. However, we are not liable for any property damage caused by your pet.
• Limitation of Liability: Client agrees to waive and relinquish any claims against SaviPets for injury, escape, illness, or death of a pet, except in cases of proven gross negligence or intentional misconduct by SaviPets. Under no circumstances shall SaviPets' total liability exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the specific service during which the claim arose.

5. Home Access & Security

• The Client agrees to provide reliable access to the home (e.g., functioning keys, accurate alarm codes).
• SaviPets is not responsible for the security of the premises or any loss/damage to the home if other individuals (e.g., housekeepers, contractors, family members, landlords) have access to the home during the service period.

6. Pet Safety & Aggression

• Vaccinations: Client warrants that all pets are fully vaccinated (including Rabies) and on appropriate flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
• Aggression: Client must disclose any history of aggression or biting. SaviPets reserves the right to terminate service immediately, without refund, if a pet poses a physical danger to our team members or the public.
• Equipment: Client is responsible for providing safe, properly functioning equipment (collars, harnesses, leashes). SaviPets is not liable for escapes resulting from faulty equipment provided by the Client.
• Yard / Invisible Fence: SaviPets is not liable for electronic collar failure or containment issues regarding invisible fencing.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

8. Modifications

SaviPets reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Active clients will be notified of material changes.

By continuing to use our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
