Terms of Service

Effective Date: June 2, 2026

Welcome to SaviPets. These Terms of Service ("Terms", "Agreement") govern the relationship between SaviPets LLC ("SaviPets", "we", "us") and the client ("Client", "you"). By booking an "IceBreaker" or utilizing any of our pet care services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

SaviPets provides software and scheduling infrastructure to independent petcare providers ("Tenants") and their customers ("Owners"). SaviPets is not a petcare service provider, referral agency, broker, or employer. All bookings, agreements, pricing, and services are established directly between the Owner and the Tenant. SaviPets is not a party to any agreements entered into between Tenants and Owners, and SaviPets disclaims all liability arising from or related to any such transactions or petcare services.

2. Booking, Payment, & Cancellations

  • Payment Facilitation: All payments are processed by our third-party payment facilitator, Square (or Stripe). By using the service, you agree to comply with the Square Seller Agreement or Stripe Services Agreement, as applicable. SaviPets does not collect, transmit, or store credit card details or bank routing information.
  • Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee up to the full cost of the scheduled service, as determined by your independent petcare provider. Holiday bookings may have stricter cancellation policies.

3. Veterinary Emergency & Medical Release

The health and safety of your pet is our top priority.

  • Authorization: In the event of a medical emergency where we cannot reach you, you authorize SaviPets to seek emergency veterinary care for your pet at a clinic of our choosing (preferring your designated vet when possible).
  • Financial Responsibility: The Client agrees to assume full financial responsibility for any and all veterinary care expenses incurred. SaviPets is released from any liability related to the decision to seek, or not seek, emergency medical treatment.

4. Liability & Indemnification

  • Pet Behavior: The Client is solely responsible and liable for the behavior and actions of their pet(s). The Client agrees to indemnify and hold SaviPets harmless from any claims, damages, or injuries caused by their pet to third parties, other animals, or property.
  • Property Damage: SaviPets is not liable for any property damage caused by your pet.
  • Software & Platform Liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SAVIPETS LLC, ITS AFFILIATES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICES. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL SAVIPETS LLC BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS, OR INJURY RESULTING FROM HACKING, TAMPERING, OR OTHER UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS OR USE OF THE SERVICES OR YOUR ACCOUNT OR THE INFORMATION CONTAINED THEREIN.
  • Limitation of Liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SAVIPETS LLC ASSUMES NO LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY (I) ERRORS, MISTAKES, OR INACCURACIES OF CONTENT; (II) PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OUR SERVICES; (III) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF OUR SECURE SERVERS AND/OR ANY AND ALL PERSONAL INFORMATION STORED THEREIN.

5. Home Access & Security

  • The Client agrees to provide reliable access to the home (e.g., functioning keys, accurate alarm codes).
  • SaviPets is not responsible for the security of the premises or any loss/damage to the home if other individuals (e.g., housekeepers, contractors, family members, landlords) have access to the home during the service period.

6. Pet Safety & Aggression

  • Vaccinations: Client warrants that all pets are fully vaccinated (including Rabies) and on appropriate flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
  • Aggression: Client must disclose any history of aggression or biting. SaviPets reserves the right to terminate service immediately, without refund, if a pet poses a physical danger to our team members or the public.
  • Equipment: Client is responsible for providing safe, properly functioning equipment (collars, harnesses, leashes). SaviPets is not liable for escapes resulting from faulty equipment provided by the Client.
  • Yard / Invisible Fence: SaviPets is not liable for electronic collar failure or containment issues regarding invisible fencing.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

8. Modifications

SaviPets reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Active clients will be notified of material changes.

By continuing to use our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
